Mahitaji
Unga wa ngano (plain flour) ( 1/4 kilo)
Yai (egg 1)
Sukari (sugar 1/4 kikombe cha chai)
Chumvi (salt 1/4 kijiko cha chai)
Hiliki (ground cardamon 1/4 kijiko cha chai)
Maji kiasi
Mafuta (vegetable oil)
Matayarisho
Tia unga kwenye bakuli, kisha weka sukari, chumvi, hiliki na maji kiasi. Kisha koroga mpaka mchanganyiko wako uwe mzito. Baada ya hapo tia yai na ukoroge tena. hakikisha mchanganyiko hauwi mzito sana au mwepesi sana.Baada ya hapo onja kama kila kitu kimekolea. Injika chuma cha kupikia chapati (fry-pan) jikoni katika moto wa wastani. Baada ya hapo tia nusu kijiko cha chakula cha mafuta katika fry-pan na kisha yatandaze. Hakikisha chuma kinapata moto na weka upawa mmoja wa unga wa chapati na uutandaze mpaka uwe flat. Baada ya hapo subiri mpaka chapati ikauke juu na kisha igeuze upande wa pili tia mafuta kijiko 1 kikubwa cha chakula kwa upande wa chini na wa juu kisha uanze kuikandamiza kwa juu na kijiko ili iweze kuiva vizuri kwa chini. Ikisha kuwa ya rangi ya brown igeuze na upike upande wa pili kiasi kisha iipue na uiweke kwenye sahani yenye kitchen towel ili kukausha mafuta. Rudia hii process kwa unga wote uliobakia. Na chapati zitakuwa tayari
